Celtic disabled fans welcomed at Rangers FC

Disabled Celtic Supporters at Ibrox - Outcome:SUCCESS

Global Hoops started campaigning for disabled Celtic supporters to be allowed entry into Ibrox in 2005 when club member Joe Clark brought it to our attention. For years rangers have breached the discrimination act by not allowing disabled Celtic supporters into Ibrox. Global Hoops undertook a series of campaigns, protests and petitions to highlight this issue. We got MP's involved and quietly set about changing things to that rangers would have to act. Five years on, things finally got stepped up, with thanks in no small part to Keith Ferguson at CAFE and we have success and Rangers granted disabled Celtic supporters tickets for the match at Ibrox on 28/2/10. We thank everyone involved for their support.

CAFE is delighted to have helped and is pleased to see a good ending to this story including the support and co-operation from Rangers FC and everyone involved.
