BBAG - Bundesbehinddertenfanarbeitsgemeinschaft
The Bundesbehindertenfanarbeitsgemeinschaft (BBAG) is the German association of disabled football supporters and disability officers within the clubs.
The BBAG started its activities in 1999 and was founded as a charity organization in 2003. Its main purpose is to advise the two organizations of German football, Deutscher Fußball-Bund (DFB) and Deutsche Fußball Liga (DFL), in all issues concerning disabled people. The BBAG is also lobbying on national level towards the relevant stakeholders in German politics. Furthermore its aim is to support German football clubs, both professionals and non-professionals, to improve their services for disabled supporters and to design their stadia accessible.
Against the background of the forthcoming FIFA World Cup 2006 in Germany the BBAG in 2001 created the first guidelines for the accessibility of football stadia. In 2009 the DFL with support of the BBAG has issued new accessibility guidelines concerning both smaller and bigger stadia in Germany.
The BBAG is also member of Football Supporters Europe.

Hapoel Tel Aviv.jpg

Hapoel Tel Aviv's DSA

Hapoel Tel Aviv`s Disabled Supporters Association has a few active members who all have some sort of disability: wheelchair users, visually impared and also people with walking difficulties.
We stay in touch during the Football season and get together once in a while to talk about different aspects of the disabled supporters' experiences.
We acted out an ACCESSIBILITY SURVEY that was answered by disabled supporters in Bloomfield stadium, home ground of club Hapoel. As a result of this survey, some the issues were addressed and resolved by the stadium staff and some are still in progress.
We also started a radio commentary intiative for the visually impaired in Hapoel basketball club and soon we will do the same for the football club.

If you wish to contact us, please email Asaf de Vries.

Isra Fans Logo

ISRAFANS
Consistent General deterioration of the Israeli football for the past two decades, reached to an all time low in 2007 as far as the fans were concerned – empty terraces, poor communication with the police, which often resulted in violence, and topping all - a strong sense of alienation between the fans and the clubs' management. The fan organization Israfans was formed out of that constellation in order to promote the interests football supporters in particular and to benefit the Israeli football and sport in general.
